Waiting for Volkswagen to use the second part of this song in some insipid commercial in order to resonate with the millennial generation’s active pursuit of order, purpose and gluten free pasta amid the existential chaos known as life. All of which, of course, can only be achieved while shifting the gears of a Jetta.
I can see it now: a montage of urban sprawl juxtaposed by vast forests and a subtle fade to black. And then, finally, “Jetta: Geared toward life.”
Nevertheless, the whole album is great. It’s by Youth Lagoon.
