That’s the problem with Lana Del Rey’s bandwagon. They don’t seem to get that her image was created by label heads and her daddy’s billions. There’s nothing authentic about her and even she says that she doesn’t want to be famous, which is funny considering she signed a huge…
As a happy contrarian, I have recently decided to tack LDR onto my short list of “music/movies/tv to never experience/like” (some of the others include Glee, Clerks, and Rage Against The Machine). As a result, I’ve yet to listen to a single song of hers and am hoping that I can shield my ears long enough until she fades into her inevitable denouement. The more I don’t listen to her, the better I feel!

Exactly. I mean, I like the album. And of course I would because it’s through Interscope, which would have made sure it was an amazing album. But I REALLY don’t like Lana/Elizabeth as a person. I find her so annoying and just a dud of a person.
